i'm liana, an interior architect by trade, but a maker at heart. 

in late 2020, I started liana makes a passion project born from my love for handmade treats and a deep desire to shed light on the artsakh war, a piece of disputed land that that continues to face significant challenges from its neighbors. I encourage you to explore this history, as its story is far from over.

growing up, I adored nazook, those buttery, flaky bites of comfort, but never knew how to make them myself. that curiosity led me to experiment in the kitchen, recreating the flavors that had always felt like home. with each batch, I discovered more than just recipes, I found a connection to tradition, a sense of nostalgia, and the joy of sharing something meaningful.

what started as a personal exploration has flourished into something bigger—a space where food, culture, and storytelling come together.
